worth murdering

"Nobody is worth murdering," he groused.
"Who knows what they'll do later, for bad
or for foul? Not my call - I didn't do it! Any
how we'd probably get caught."

"Wow, Gandalf!" I lied. "Wise words. Pity!
What a shameful thing, musing wistfully
so on non-murder's maybe-upsides." I'd

have
killed the old coot, but
from what he'd given me to know, no
weapon in my possession could bite
on him. Making it a no-no to
try, arguably. In so doubtful
a case.

Wise of him, though

to tell me so
