smackup

I don't know
if it's coincidence,
or everyone's experience.
Transcendency,
banality

is somehow fine
as lines can be,
and yet

the impact
runs us through
beyond, beneath, to
root in grounds
of cause effect,
result and aim

in driving out

from in this pain.
You broke

my heart and
collarbone, by how
you gripped so graceful
soft,

my sharp lapels - and shook me
shook. Then smacked
my lips
with yours

aloft
