Whosoever butters

Whoever it is
who butters their bread
on both sides is a child,
or touched in the head.

If I ever catch you -
my charitable take?

You do it like me.
Only once.
By mistake.

Second time, though?
I catch you? You catch me?

We might have to work out

some kind
of a plea.
