bee and bear

I bear up and down
like a fuzzy one
only now I have wings
and antennae on,
and my hivelike mind's
making honey in combs
swelling up so sweet
fit for queens and drones.
Yet it's only me, here,
and I'm only me there.
I am huge and astute
with omnivorous care.
And the honey that rises
and courses my veins
is pumped by a heart
that just bearly remains.
