moderate modern standing
I'm a poet
of moderate
modern standing
around, coming up
with ideas, and putting
them down.
Also! Kinda can't decide whether I like the double standing or the double putting them down better? But I'm leaning towards standing, because - the reason you give. Simultaneously ending and starting the halves of the poem. Such happy chances come with constant tries!

I love the dual purpose of 'standing', and how it makes you pause, and how neatly it divides the poem in half.
I don't quite understand why I can't read it without mentally going off into 'I am the very model of a modern major general'.
That's such an insanely catchy and perfect character piece!
That's why?
