The way that you read my poems,
it's like
they were written to you,
which is an imposition at its best,
or quite daringly close
to it. A presumption, perhaps
at its most troublesome, which
- when proven true, will get up
and go, leaving you
with no further game
to pursue. And me,
I will write
another one.
