A Pocketful of Poesy was and is again a Poem-a-Day(-on-Average) Blog! For 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and now for 2017 and going forward, you may expect to see 365 poems every year, 366 for leap years.

persistence of vision
the future used to be for us,
and now it's just for me
my clear eyes know that it's a lie -
once true, now fantasy
I look ahead at what was lost
it hasn't faded yet
it seems like I could just wake up
and step right into it
