full on arts dissertation's disclothes

I stood up revealed
in college once
to explain to the prof
just what he wants:

nudity! In film: the
original optimal
special effect

to pack them in
carts, blankets
wrapped correct
in propriety, suffocating
tight to get out past the
posted guards in mind,
quick heart off the road
bumping down, through
all the way home

out quick comes the staff,
critiqued to the bone:
for unrealistic turns
of a shopworn
plot.

with no
audience
all high on pot,
macking snacks,
stealing kiss between
snooze and yawn
sneaking in booze
shouting boos 'til
dawn: oh,

it's no
fun
it's all done
in-camera
now

so
long

boom the gong wring
the curtain off:

POW

like you didn't expect
that bared eye show?
Come on. Where's the
car, babe

we gots
to go
