For traveling on highways bugs are much too soft
Sixty miles an hour kills the dumb ones off
Further from the road the smarter ones buzz on
Do their thing, and pass those smarter genes along
Life is not a tragedy, it's problems we can solve
Oh, oowhoa, oh oowhoa you better evolve
I don't know if the aliens are studying us
Probing genitalia and brains and such
But we had better get our rockets out in space
So we can find ourselves an unsuspecting race
Hassle them like sheep, and not let on that we're involved
Oh oowhoa, oh oowhoa you gotta evolve
I heard about the supervirus holocaust
Invented by the rainforests to kill us off
Well some of our mad scientists should intervene
Create replacement photosynthesis machines
Then it would be simple: pave it over, problem solved
Oh oowhoa, oh owhoa we get to evolve
