every fucking day

My ten-year plan is to still be alive or die
as well as I can. Seek no risk but what I find
Keep coming back, creating for you safe space
Whoever you are, I'll never get in your face

every fucking day
every fucking day
every fucking day
every fucking day

Whatever I give, you don't need to take from me
as long as I live, I want you to be so free
I can't be your friend, without indivisible trust
We could always just end, or come back knock off the rust

every fucking day
every fucking day
every fucking day
every fucking day

My five year plan is to pull back and make my mark
Wherever you stand, I'm out shining in the dark
With all that you gave, still grounding and centering me
I want to behave the way you wished I could be

And if there isn't a pony ride
And if there isn't a castle keep
And if there aren't any rainbows left
we should not be ashamed to weep

every fucking day
every fucking day
every fucking day
every fucking day

Revenge is a ghost that haunts us in the world's eyes
I need you the most, but I couldn't live with lies
The truth is the best, we ever could get used to
I'm always impressed with everything we could do

every fucking day
every fucking day
every fucking day
every fucking day

My one year plan is to still be alive or die
as well as I can. I never could just
stand by
