Nothing Real

I been crying
you couldn't tell
But you miss nothing
it's just as well

it was only a movie a song or some
other depiction of life
gone wrong, probably

You pull no punches
and so do I
We're trading lunches
and alibis
it's only emotion and soul that's
between us so deep in and out
of control

it's nothing real
oh no, no.
It's nothing real,
no, no, no,
it's nothing real -
Oh no no, it's nothing
it's nothing
it's nothing really, though

'Cause deep inside me
way down and hid
it's nothing, really
I vomited

it was only emotion and soul and
between us those things
don't exist, you know

it's nothing real
oh no, no.
It's nothing real,
no, no, no,
it's nothing real -
Oh no no, it's nothing
it's nothing
it's nothing really, though

this was only a movie a song
or some other depiction of life
gone wrong,

it wasn't real
