Justice on a pedestal

Justice is the stone-cold
chick with the blindfold
and sword, and a couple
empty scales held aloft.

The blindfold helps her judge
as she cuts a swathe,
and those scales

stay empty

whatsoever the cost.
She's a symbol to us.
You have to swing blind
with that stone cold sword
or you'll lose your mind

if you let yourself see
the real human being,
you might have to recuse
yourself from this thing

Go justice
Stay up there, babe
Go justice
Stand tall, throw shade
Go justice
So objectified

If anyone said you were fair,
well they lied.
