blithe naive

You don't have to worry 'bout me
I'm blithe, naive, sincere
you see.
I never will believe the worst
unless I hear it from you,
first.

I trust you,
'cause I know I can, and guess what
that says way more about me.
I love you,
'cause I know I can. And guess what
you've never said I can't,
or proved me wrong
on what I am.

You don't need to worry 'bout me
I'm blithe, naive, sincere
you see. I never will believe
the worst
unless I hear it from you,
first.

And what I am? The one who trusts
who loves just you, disprove that
if you must, but I have bet you can't.
And I have so much on this hand.
