brought out
in similarities,
echoed
from plate to table,
egg to glass
in white and golden
yellow-orange glows
with flecks of peppered sass,
and curving metal tines -
the glints produced
picked up in sunshine
wetly kissed
upon egg yolk
and orange juice.
