Take me home
to the place we'll be from,
forever now on
if anyone asks
Just take me home,
and I'll look around
and believe I am
home at last.
I bet there's a dog
and a beach out front.
I bet there's a door
and a key to it.
I bet that the whole world
fits inside,
or all of the world
we'd want to fit.
Oh, I've never been home.
It sounds like a beautiful place
I'm sure it will be, on the day
you take me home
to the place we'll be from,
if anyone asks,
forever now on,
okay?
