charm attack

You blitzed with pealing bells
untold in laughter rung like hearts,
like rags, like dawn and sunset
straw-spun gold in Rumpelstiltskin's
long-con gag to snag himself a first-born
child, by playing on a spinning wheel.

Wait, where'd the fuck I go with this?
The point is you charmed me
for real, and knocked me
sprawled inside

big deal

so now the world
has twice the feel.
