An insult's always
a compliment of sorts. First,
someone took the time
to knock you off
a horse, or wherever
you're wrong, or try.
Second, enemies give gifts
friends won't.
Take truth for what it is,
and know the difference.
Insults are gifts
from jerks,
and should be taken for all
that they're worth. With gratitude!
For any damn clue you glean, if not
for the jerk
who was not giving favors to you.
Or try.
