I wonder sometimes 
if you secretly hate it 
when I go "heh heh heh"

- that 70% involuntary, 
30% deliberate and to that 
degree arguably fake laugh -

or whether instead, you take it 
how I truly intend it, to the extent 
it is intended, and hate it anyway
