bigotry math

How can you hate
the Taiwanese? How
many them have you met?
Girl, please. There's twenty three
million of them back home, and

I bet you haven't met twenty-three,

where you roam.
Yes, sure, some roam
and settle around. Near you,

even maybe. Face to face
in a crowd, but how many
have you met yet? Truly?

So far?

Enough sample size
to fill up a bar
on a graph you plot
to declare all the rest
same beans? Good
as bad? Real hate?

Is that
the paltry, vacuous
make-believe thing hate
means?
