starshot

clean light
for once. b

space
inexplicably black, considering
every eye-line you could take should at some point
short of infinity

meet with a star

but there's
an explanation. For why

the night sky is not a
saturation deep
glaring bright
uniform field of
continuous star.

There's an explanation why but
it makes sense as long
as you follow along,
concentrate, and

then once you've got it
you forget. Somewhere,
some far but finite

distance away

a night sky like that
which won't understand

is coming your way.
