I've rigged the status quo
decisively,
deceptively,
identically
to how it appeared
to be found
by me.
So that no one will know
or suspect it's rigged.
Or even if they do,
they won't know who. They will
look too high, too big
- they will all blame 'They'
as they always do,
for a joke.

Meanwhile
I sit back, so invested deep
in the bankrupt and compromised
gains I've made,
- that no one can see
how I plan to keep -
well, it just takes hope
and sagacity,
and cunning and shrewd
application of dreams
- that I never give up!
