cellular one

Amoebalike, I sense your light.
Extruding pseudopodia, I squirm
and make my way towards you
it's just the way I've learned
to live. My sustenance is
what you give. I ooze,
engulfing every bit
that you've left floating
in your wake, 'til I am full
and then,
I split
