my fucking head hurts
from what I didn't do, today
or yesterday and most likely
yet again tomorrow, and there's only one way
to quiet the son of a bitch. Not pills,
or alcohol or -
well, I suppose enough of both would do
- but maybe just this: shutting
it out, and getting down
to it.
