a baby is like a weird pet
that can't do anything
at first
but eventually
you can teach it to do
some things. It's all floppy
and helpless, and you're like
"WHY"
but it keeps growing
and then...it starts
taking on your characteristics
and starts mimicking you
and growing bigger and bigger
to replace you, and you can't help it
you help it.
it's so adorable
you want to teach it everything
