rough accounting

We don't deserve love.
None of us do. But

sometimes you're given a gift,
you know? You could spend
all the rest of your life

in earning it. Or you
can let it go.

Count all the blessings that you deserved,
then ask yourself where you'd have gotten them from
if you'd been refused.
Look at what's left that you lucked into -
and if you would earn what it's worth to you,
you have time to burn, to be wasted or used,
'til the bill comes due.
