littlest

the littlest lizard out there is so bold.
He's always underfoot bounding out
from harm's way. I never even notice
his dares, 'til he's won.
Each time he gets bigger, and soon
he'll be old.
I hope he grows wise
before he grows slow.
Bravery deserves
another day in the sun.
