fit

When first you fit the lie inside,
it's much too small to jusitfy. But
once it's grown to poking out, it's
far too tightly-lodged to doubt.
You know the truth inventing it.
You know what's just made-up
and false, but once

you fit the lie inside,
it draws such fit truth to itself
it's justified, as such.
Just 'cause.
