when i was a kid,
my brother had a poster on the wall
of everything
I would look at it all day
and not figure it out
maybe so there'd be something left
to try to figure out
when he left home,
the poster stayed
it wasn't my room anymore
it wasn't my room anymore, but
I stayed a few years, and then I
left a few years
when I came back,
the whole wall was empty,
and painted gray
