big flap

I'm responsible for the universe. 
I just don't fight anybody 
for the part they claim. 
I figure it's taken care of! And 
I know who to blame

if it isn't. 
Me.

For ceding that part 
without a fight, 
so easily 

My fault is large 
in a case like that, but 
somehow I still do survive 

the flap.

I guess there's enough fault 
to go around, and blame enough 
for anything found, but the strange 
thing is: no one seems to hold 

me responsible for what I
don't 
directly 
control, even if it's the universe!
Which I am in claimed fact 
responsible for!

I've never once
fallen down on that.  

You'd think we could trust 

each other
more.
