How true is the lesson you learned
when it's gone? Does it go in true
is reality altered in recognition
or does it spring back, resilient
to what you'd assumed before
the epiphany
listen
if it isn't
something you can redraw,
recall, pull back by tracing
the shape left empty
in your mind,
then maybe you lucked out
this time.
At least,
you can't tell for sure
so
it's fine.
