wise. I think
I've grown wise enough to see
how wise I've grown
since before,
when I rebuffed their appraisal
of my wisdom on merit,
and now, when
I accept it.
Really,
it's probably
likelier I've grown
unwise enough to accept it. However,
the barometer on crap like this
is subjective. I prefer
to honor the benefit
of the doubt
in such case.
