Sometimes you have to reenact the crime
to figure out what laws were broken
Sometimes playing back the conversation
is the only way to piece together
what was left unspoken
Sometimes
all you do is dissect,
rationalize
And still it adds up to
a perfect score
Apart from all the lies
you tell yourself about
not wanting more.
