Christmas Where I Was

It's so weird. It's 2am
here, and I just caught myself thinking,
"One more hour to Christmas!" Like
I'm excited! Expectant, except

I won't be there when it comes.

And I guess I'm not quite here
yet. Soon,

it will be New Year's, and
I will try to find my present.
