at catching hints, myself. But I say, try this:
get yourself a grey t-shirt
with the words "HINT HINT" on it
in mint green 100-pt font (all caps).
Slip that on, whenever I've been
oblivious, and
(I swear)
whatever the hint may have been,
I'll ask
