the world is pre-owned
all of it's used
there's nothing in it new
maybe some days we do
pick up a piece, scrape it clean
fit together different ways
or take a piece and melt it down
cast it, shmoosh it, mold like clay, but
not one single piece is new.
The world is used,
it lost
six thousand dollars off
its sticker-price cost
as soon as it drove
itself off the lot
and the odometer since then -
man.
It's beyond human ken
