life is an oncoming train
and that cowcatcher means business
even though it's going slow now
it's picking up speed
you might even jump aboard
if your timing is neat
but the problem is - this train
is headed back that way
and you've been walking forward
for so long
along these tracks
well it's not as if you're going
some particular place
but you can't be going back
